An ultra wide angle, prime lens, the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC has been designed to work with full frame or APS-C cameras. Its optics comprise of 14 lens elements arranged in 10 groups. The model has been fitted with two ED lenses with a low dispersion factor, two aspherical lens elements, including one hybrid element and three elements with a high refraction factor. All lens elements have been covered with the highest-quality anti-reflective UMC coatings. The lens provides maximum angle of view equal to 115.7 degrees, while the minimum focusing distance is 0.28 metres.
